The EB-3 category provides a pathway to U.S. permanent residency for foreign nationals sponsored by a U.S. employer for a permanent, full-time position. It includes three sub-classifications: skilled workers with at least two years of training or experience, professionals holding a bachelor's degree, and other workers performing unskilled labor.

Skilled Workers

Positions requiring at least two years of training or experience (not temporary or seasonal).

Professionals

Positions requiring a U.S. bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; no experience substitute.

Other Workers

Unskilled labor requiring less than two years of training or experience.
